O Lord Jesus Christ, You came to heal our wounded and

troubled hearts. We beg you to heal the torments that cause

anxiety in our hearts; we beg you in a particular way, to come

into our lives and heal us of the psychological, physical,

emotional, and spiritual harm that struck us in our early years

and from the injuries that they have caused throughout our lives.

 

  Heal, O Lord, all those wounds that have been the cause of

all the evil that is rooted in our lives. Help us forgive all those

who have offended us. You who came to heal the afflicted of heart,

please heal our own hearts. Grant that we may regain your peace

and joy in our lives, that we may be authentic witnesses to your

Resurrection and triumph over sin and death.  

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
